“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.”
(This picture was taken at Claude Monet’s house in Giverny, France. We were some of the first visitors there very early in the morning so we had the garden all to ourselves for a little while! It was mesmerizing).
Yosemite Valley is home to most of the park’s famous waterfalls and massive ancient giant sequoia strees. Here are a couple of pictures that I took from my trip back in August 2011. It was incredible to be in the middle of these magnificent giant mountains and sequoia trees. We walked around all day just mesmerized by the scenery, there is just so much to see and appreciate!
The tunnel view is one of the most famous views of Yosemite Valley. Once you exit the tunnel, you will see this amazing view. From here you can see El Capitan and Bridalveil Fall rising from Yosemite Valley, with Half Dome in the background. Majority of the tourists park their cars and take pictures, I highly recommend it!
Yosemite Lodge and Lower Yosemite Fall provide a closer view of Yosemite Falls. A short walk takes you right to the bottom, be ready to get wet!
Such a breathtaking and magnificent place! If you ever get the chance to visit California, you must visit this NationalPark. There is so much to do here: horseback ridding, fishing, hiking, picnicking, birdwatching, rock climbing, backpacking, water activities, tours and so much more. Be ready to take a lot of pictures 🙂
