Dream Home

If I could design how I would like my future dream house to look like when I am older, I would choose a cottage style house! Something about it makes it look cozy and beautiful. Having a beautiful front yard and back yard with all types of colorful flowers would give it a wonderful touch and would make people waking by stop and gaze at just how beautiful my house is! This quote summarizes what a home means to me. “Home, the spot of earth supremely blest, a dearer, sweeter spot than all the rest.” I hope that everyone who reads is living in their dream house right now 🙂

Rainbow of Colors

I decided to make my mom a basket of flowers as her gift for Mother’s Day! I went to my favorite flower nursery store and started picking out flowers and boy was it hard to choose, they all looked so beautiful. I knew I wanted a pink and purple theme so I tried to see which ones would match together. It took a little while to decide which ones I wanted, but I love decorating and doing crafty things so I could do this all day really 🙂 I took some picture of some of my favorite flowers that stood out to me, I wish I could of used them all!

I could not be any happier my basket came out just as how I envisioned it! I bought the basket and little butterflies at Michael’s, I always like to add a nice little decorations to my projects. I am so happy on how it turned out 🙂 I hope you all had a beautiful day with your Mom’s!

Room Tours

I love looking at room tours on you tube because they always give me ideas on how I can decorate my room. I saw this video a few weeks ago and I must that this has got to be one of my favorite room tour videos. Her room is huge! You can check more of Sara’s videos on her style blog website 🙂

Kermits-The Meditating Frogs

One of the first things that I do when I go to stores is go straight to their outdoor department to see what type of small animal statues they have. I like decorating my garden with all types of cute decorative things. I have rabbits, lady bugs, squirrels, and frogs! I couldn’t resist when I saw these two cute little frogs. Everytime we have guest come over they compliment my little frogs. I put theme right in the front so they can be the first thing that people see. I already had the relaxing frog and I thought he could use a friend 🙂

Teapots and Yellow Flowers

I keep adding new things to my room, my theme is a pastel/Europe vibe. I am also trying to go for a Jane Austin/ English countryside cottage theme. Two of my walls are light yellow and the other two are light green. I have a huge painting of Paris, France right in front of me. Everyday when I wake up, I see Paris! I feel like I have some type of a connection with this beautiful city. I have been to Paris five times, and some of those times were unplanned visits. I feel that there is something that I have to see there that I still haven’t seen. I am pretty sure I will be returning soon, I will keep you updated 🙂 Back to my room,  it is very pretty in the morning because when the sun shines in, my room looks so bright and vibrant!

I have recently fallen in love teapots! I found this really cute small one and I knew I did not want it for tea, but instead, I wanted to put some flowers 🙂 and with yellow being my favorite color, I knew I had to get some yellow flowers! I went to Michael’s today and was in search for the perfect flowers for my white tea pot. It took me a while to finally decide which one I wanted, they had such a gorgeous display of so many flowers if time was on my side I would stay there forever. I came home and rushed to my room to see how my new tea pot would look like. I put my little white tea pot on my desk so when I work and study I can always look at it and see how cute it is 🙂 I was thinking that I wanted to paint it add some little flower designs. Maybe yellow flowers 😉
