Building company Drydocks World has signed a contract with a Swiss firm to develop a string of underwater hotels around Dubai, including the planned “Water Discus Hotel,” news.com.au reports. The planned hotel will feature 21 rooms, a dive center and a bar, all 32 feet below the surface of the ocean. Each guest room will feature special lighting, creating optimal light for guests to photograph the sea life around them.
The hotel will have two main “discs”–one below and one above the water — which will be connected by three legs that will feature stairways and elevators enabling guests to hit the ocean in a unique way. This project has seven different types of designs and (each will cost in) the range of around $50 million to $120 million!

It’s amazing how fast the country’s developing into an engineer marvel, this is going to be incredible
Hi,
It always amazes me what they can do today with new technology, this looks great.
Amazing! Can you imagine staying in one of those rooms?!?
Thanks for sharing this.

I can already see James Bond filming here! I’d stay (looks around for a millionaire husband….)
